Enjoy The Landscape
When was the last time you stopped and really looked around? What did you see or notice? When was last time you paused, closed your eyes and took a meaningful deep breath? How did it make you feel?
It's the first day of Spring and we're approaching the end of Q1 2023. It's a transitional time of color, warmth and beauty. Birds are chirping and the days are a little longer. More sunlight and maybe some nourishing rain.
It's a great opportunity to take part in this transition. Spring forward, don't fall back.
If you're feeling any level of overwhelm, I urge you to get out into nature. It could be the nearest park, trail or a weekend camping trip. Get outside. Think of it as your personal offsite. Connect with nature and come back with new insights and inspiration.
"There's no better time than right now."
Perspective
A client of mine recently went on a cycling trip in Italy, that included a bike race. She said something that really stuck with me, that I think you will appreciate.
"I'm not doing this for results, I just want to enjoy the day."
I thought this was inspiring. It reminded me of the few times I played golf without keeping score. Or going for a run without tracking it on my Apple Watch. Doing these activities for pure enjoyment instead of a result, takes the pressure off & allows you to relax a bit. Give it a try every once in a while. You might like it.
